Shipping Policy

What this policy covers

This policy applies to our frozen Bak Chor Mee kits and packaged sauces. It does not apply to hot food or takeaway orders at markets and events.

Order processing

All orders are processed within 2–3 business days of receiving your order confirmation. You will receive a separate notification with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.

We dispatch Monday to Wednesday only. This is intentional — it ensures your frozen order does not sit in transit over a weekend and arrive thawed. Orders placed Thursday to Sunday will be dispatched the following Monday.

During periods of high demand or unforeseen courier delays outside our control, processing times may be longer. We will communicate any known delays proactively.

Tracking your order

Once dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking number. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to become active.

If your order has not arrived within 5 business days of your dispatch notification, please contact us at hello@supershiokeats.com with your name and order number and we will follow up with our courier partner on your behalf.

Important — receiving your frozen order

Please ensure someone is available to receive your order on the expected delivery day and transfer it to the freezer immediately upon arrival. Our kits are dispatched frozen with insulated packaging and gel packs, but they cannot remain unattended for extended periods — particularly in warmer months.

If no one is available to receive your order, we recommend selecting a delivery date when you will be home or nominating a safe, shaded drop-off location in your delivery notes.

Local pickup — free

Skip the shipping fee with free local pickup. Select local pickup at checkout and we will confirm a mutually agreed day and time by email. Pickup availability varies and is subject to our production schedule — we will always confirm details with you before your collection date.

Local delivery

We offer local delivery within a 10km radius of Takapuna for a flat delivery fee of $10, with a minimum order of $100. To arrange local delivery, select the relevant option at checkout or contact us directly.

NZ-wide shipping

We ship nationwide across New Zealand. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight. South Island and rural deliveries may attract an additional freight fee and longer transit times — this will be reflected before you confirm your order.

International shipping

We do not offer international shipping at this time.
